Another Bot Bites The Dust

The bot farm is facing challenges due to market volatility, with some bots performing poorly. Less trusted bots were allocated less capital to minimize potential losses. A bot running on “Espresso” mode, with settings raised 8X, incurred heavy losses in the volatile market. Despite recent setbacks, the focus is on maximizing returns with better-funded bots. Fighting For Its Life

The Aviator bot is on the brink of retirement due to consistent drawdowns, comprising nearly 20% of the account’s value. Its focus on only three Forex pairs poses a challenge, leading to erratic performance. With the addition of a 5.4 lot in AUDNZD trades, the hope for a turnaround lingers, but the bot’s reliability remains in question. Continue reading

Very Disappointed In My Tractor, But…

After volunteering, I checked on my tractors. All were doing well except Aviator, which experienced a 35% drawdown and sold all positions. I regret not setting a 50% drawdown. Despite past testing, the bot struggled with certain currency pairs. I adjusted settings and will closely monitor it, learning from this expensive lesson. Continue reading
