I received a similar question this morning. The person was seeking reassurance. They wanted to believe the bot could do what EFX claimed. This is how I responded.
I’m glad to help! I started with the EFX bot about 16 months ago – right after it came out. I added some money for 3 – 4 months as it did well. Then, I thought I would be wise and move cash to NURP and a couple of their bots. (With NURP, you must “join” them before paying a monthly fee per bot. The upfront fee “gives” you access to all of their bots. With EFX, you buy one bot and then pay the monthly payment.) When I moved my money from EFX, their algo was entangled in a few trades for a few months. This was limiting its monthly profitability. This prolonged drawdown was my “sign” to move all to NURP.
After not using my EFX license for a few months, NURP made me regret this. The strategies used by NURP’s bot were not kind to me this past summer. Now, I am back exclusively with the EFX Algo.
Are they perfect? No. In my first month back, I made nearly 10%. Since then, it has been 2 – 5%. They don’t over-promise. They proactively communicate. Presently, my bot is entangled in another few trades that the bot is struggling to close. Would I repurchase the bot? Probably. I believe the price has increased since I bought mine.
Finally, if you have the money for the license and $20,000 (I believe this is suggested for aggressive settings), let their VPS host it. You are unlikely to have a double-digit month, but you will also not check your account in the morning and find that the bot has blown it.
Good Luck!
P.S. – I am happy to refer you if you have not talked to them yet. I think you will be satisfied with your decision.
I’m unsure if he will go forward, but I think he will. If my honest and sincere response makes you interested in exploring, I am happy to refer you, too!!
