With Forex typically having a slow December, it seems unfair it gets vacation days besides. But New Year’s Day is another such day. In the Central Time Zone, Octane stopped trading on December 31st at 4:00 PM. I assume Octane will go back on the clock for 48 hours on January 1st before shutting down Friday for the weekend.
With the drawdown continuing to be so high, I would like to see Octane manage its way into something less than a 10% drawdown. BUT, an algo trading bot does what it has to do. I continue to be hopeful 2025 smiles on this and my other passive investments.
