My Ideal NURP Bot

This morning I received the quarterly survey from NURP. After the help their bots played in making the summer (and the year) deep in the red, I couldn’t hold back. They asked for comments on their tools. I was pretty honest. Maybe I am the exception, but I am hopeful they start providing the type of bots I can feel comfortable using.

I’m looking for a bot that I can set up on my VPS and forget about. While I understand the importance of ensuring that MT4/5 stays connected to the VPS, I don’t want to use bots that could potentially blow my account.

Can we have bots that run with moderate or conservative settings? I know some traders prefer aggressive tools to assist with their trading, but I’m not one of them. What I’m seeking is a bot that can passively generate income with minimal involvement on my part.

This past summer, I lost money—thankfully, it was an amount I could afford to lose. However, it made me very reluctant to use tools that operate without strict safety measures. I want something that won’t blow my account. Losses are part of trading, and I accept that, but I don’t want to use any product that lacks built-in safeguards.

As a NURP user, I’d rather see no profit for a month than risk chasing an out-of-control pair and end up with bigger losses.

I considered telling NURP, “I want a bot like Octane, but with a NURP-ish spin.” With the participation in the NURP community dropping since the summer events/losses, I don’t think I am alone. I want something that will make money without ruining vacations or nights of sleep. That is not a bot relying on martingale strategies. Can you do it, NURP?
