Within the first half hour of getting up every morning, I check in on the tractors to see how productive their overnight activities were. Most times it is a, “That is what I expected.” Today, there were a couple of nice surprises:
- The Fed/Gold Digger: The over $8,000 drawdown disappeared, and the all of the EURJPY trades disappeared. Gold Digger didn’t take any trades. Disappointed financially, but grateful from the “impending doom” side of my brain.
- EFX Octane: I have been told they are working on the new version that will allow all trades to remain managed even with a reboot. But, nothing yet. I just stare at the VPS waiting for it to host Octane again.
- Precision: This gold scalper did $97 last night. If I am lucky within 3-4 weeks I will be back to my original investment–the amount before the “greed” took possession of me.
- Pro FX: This bot was very close yesterday to closing a few trades. Today, it closed a series of trades with a profit of $1100. Not bad for a bot that has no monthly fee!
- Aviator 2: This bot is in drawdown over $3500. (If I closed all of my trades in this account, I would lose $3500.) And, the margin level is just above 1,000%. I wish the drawdown was less and the margin was higher, but this is how this bot works.
- DRG Demo Strategy: I am SO glad this one is not real money. While the account grew over $3,000 overnight, the drawdown right now on this account is at $24,000. The $105,496 account would be worth $82,000 if all of the trades were closed. Hard for me to stomach that much turmoil!
If I see anything interesting in the morning, I check in on the bots during the day. Otherwise, I try not to peak too much until tomorrow morning. The life of a bot farmer is not hard.
