After making $9,000 in March, I became very optimistic early in April. Then, various issues got in the way of success. With the first four months of the year past, here is where everything sits.

• EFX Octane: Due to excessive drawdown and an internet hiccup at the wrong time, Octane could no longer manage the trades. That quick, the $10,000 made so far this year was gone. This bot is no longer active on a live account. I am considering setting up a demo account. This will allow me to observe it without putting money at risk.
• The Fed/Gold Digger: For most of the month, these bots were in the same account. Gold Digger made significant contributions while it was there. For the month, these 2 bots did nearly $9,000. Once Octane was closed, this shared account almost doubled in size.
• Precision: Previously, this account belonged to the Pelosi bot. (No longer supported by NURP.) That issue and the “heavy” lot sizes caused me to lose my gains and dig into principle. Lighter lot sizes are slowly getting me back to even. It is better to learn these lessons when the account is young. Blowing the account would have been VERY bad.
• Pro FX: This bot has had a few wins, but its account benefits from its previous owner, Gold Digger. Gold Digger moved on to keep The Fed company in their shared account. It is closing a few winning trades.
• Aviator 2: This is the last of the 3 University of Options bots added in April. The account is not overwhelming me, but it is entering into trades. It will eventually close a few.

My first goal is to pay for the bots. The money I have earned thus far in 2024 almost pays for all but the NURP bots. I hope to get that paid for in the next 2 months. Once that goal is cleared, I can move into some “real” profit.

Finally, my goal is to make no changes in May. I don’t want to add any new bots or money; I want to see what the bots do. The only changes I may make are changes to lot sizes if the account grows, and larger lot sizes are recommended. Wish me luck! 🙂
