As two of my tractors have given me problems this week, I am glad one of them is attempting to make up for its poor productivity. Yes, the Precision bot is doing it slow this time. I learned not to give it fuel that was too rich. It isn’t overwhelming me like it did before. Yet, I think we are going to work better together going forward.

As you can see in the chart, I was pushing the accelerator pretty hard for a few days. When gold took its dive on Monday, my bot settings said, “I am feeling pretty aggressive today.” Instead, it should have either said, “Last week was exhausting. Can I have the week off?” or “I have proven I know what I am doing. Can you turn the throttle down a little?”
Since the “Monday Dive”, the Precision bot has done about $350 over the past three trading days. As the bar graph indicates, it is not as profitable as before. On the positive side, the red line is gradually angling up again.
While this bot did attempt to alter my recommendation of it, I realize it was my fault for revving up the settings. If I was running on the settings I have now, I likely would still have had a loss–about a quarter of the size. I have been told the price of this bot will be going up next month. If you are interested, I will provide the contact info. Or, you can always contact them yourself. 🙂
Happy Algo Trading!
