It should come as no surprise I am developing some favorites in my algo trading bot-farm. If I had it to do all over again, I would probably start differently. However, if I had gone looking for an “algo trading bot” without having any trust in the company or the people at the company, I would probably not even have begun the journey.
Where would I start today?
University of Options Precision Bot
- While my time with the University of Option (UoO) bots has been short, I am pretty impressed with one of the two bots I purchased two weeks ago. The Precision bot continues to be steady. It trades during the non-volatile periods. And, in the first week, it has not had a losing day. If I had a do-over, this bot would be my first purchase.
- They do the setup for you and provide support documentation.
- The cost for one bot is just under $4,000. (4/16/2024)
- There is no ongoing monthly fee for this gold trading wonder.
- As you grow more confident with the bot and your account size grows, you can increase the lot size.
- Setting up your brokerage account will save you time before you purchase the bot. (OxSecurities has worked well for me.)You can start on a demo account, too. If you use a live account, UoO recommends having at least $5,000 in it.
- I chose to use the VPS company UoO recommended. It was $35/month, and it was pretty easy to set up.
I realize that algo trading can still be intimidating. This simple plan allows you to test the waters for less than $10,000. If you don’t get greedy, this should give you a positive experience. Nothing is guaranteed, and I have no idea what the market will look like if and when you jump in. Before you buy, you can talk to UoO about any satisfaction concerns you may have. Be honest with them, and see what works out.
