Multiple Bots For Sanity Sake

I have gone into some detail about the “dreadful” USDCHF trades my bot got lured into. To make large rewards, you need to be willing to take the risk. As stated before, you have to trust the bot.

The USDCHF trades are moving, but still a few thousand dollars from profit. The longer the trades are held, the greater the swap fees. The algo bot is aware of these fees as it navigates the trades to completion.

In light of this continued difficulty to get out of these trades, I am glad I have two bots that trade Forex very well.

  • The Nurp bot (The Fed) has different algorithms. It is a proven bot that knows how to trade Forex. While it didn’t get caught in the temptations of this forex pair, it is not immune.
  • The EFX Octane bot has 8 algorithms protecting your equity and slowing down new trades when the type of USDCHF drawdown takes place. I can’t say for sure, but I have no doubt The Fed bot will enter into some long drawn out trades that the Octane bot will ignore. Will it be next month or next fall? And, have no doubt, the Octane bot will continue to wander into these trades as it sees trading opportunities.

Both bots are built differently. Despite this, they both make consistent returns. I am trying to balance my risk in investments that are, by definition, very risky. If you keep following me on my journey, you can see how I do!
