The Ceiling Became the Basement: My WETH/USDC Farming Adventure

While the yellow numbers don’t perfectly represent my range, they are very close. I would love a nice spike up while collecting fees along the way.
Not a dead day since the dip of a couple of weeks ago. However, nothing as impressive as the first day’s output again.

Sometimes I have to remind myself that I didn’t end up in this yield farm by accident. I actually thought it through—well, mostly. Smart people (the ones who seem to understand candlesticks without crying) like to say that when a price breaks through a resistance level, that ceiling can turn into the floor. I call it “the basement upgrade.”

According to the charts, my WETH/USDC pair seemed to follow that rule nicely. My once-wobbly ceiling has now become a solid place to stand. Okay, maybe not marble floors—but definitely sturdier than my last crypto decision.

I’ll admit, my optimism sometimes floats higher than the top of my trading range. Still, the experts think this pair could climb past $5,000. Will it? I really hope so. I’m already daydreaming about what I’ll do with the yield and gains when it bursts through.

In the meantime, my farm has been treating me fairly well. Only one day in the past three weeks cracked $200 in yield, but not a single day has delivered zero. That’s better than most days in the stock market—and it makes me smile every time Ethereum wobbles but my farm keeps paying rent.

When I checked with my crypto guru about my grand plan, he raised an eyebrow but didn’t call me crazy. Here’s my plan: ride the WETH/USDC farm all the way up to $5,099, then use the profits to scoop up undervalued altcoins before they wake up. My guru’s version was different—he’d shrink the farm now and redeploy the USDC into promising altcoins immediately. Fair point, but even he said my logic held up. Different strokes for different risk tolerances.

Of course, the market keeps doing its usual routine—rising just enough to make me hopeful, then collapsing slightly to test my emotional stability. Still, farming keeps me from feeling wrecked. If I only held Ethereum, every dip would sting. At least now, every down day still puts a little yield in my digital wallet.

Between Solana and my trusty WETH farm (that’s Wrapped Ethereum for the new folks), I’ve decided not to mess with my ranges. The markets are going to do what they do, and I’ll collect my harvest as it comes. If the gurus are right and we finally break out of this range, my farms might just pop their heads out of the ceiling.

And when that happens, even my toughest crypto critic—the one staring back at me in the mirror—might let me pat myself on the back.
