A Farmer’s Tale: Hanging Out at the Edge of the Pool
Ever feel like your crypto is just treading water? Well, sometimes being at the edge is where the action—and the rewards—are. Today, I noticed something interesting with my Solana positions: when the price of my crypto pair gets close to the very bottom or top of the range I’ve set (especially on Orca), my APR suddenly gets a little boost.
Why? It’s simple. Think of it like being the only lifeguard at the deep end of the pool. At that moment, your crypto is holding down the fort where it’s needed the most. The pool’s running low on liquidity at the edge, so you’re doing an important job. Because you’re key to keeping things afloat, you get a bigger slice of the trading fees.
So while some folks worry when the price hits the corners, I’m just over here making sure my lifeguard chair is comfortable. Don’t ask me for guarantees—I just know I’m getting paid a little extra for showing up where most others flinch.
Sure, prices for SOL/USDC, SOL/USDT (even my WETH/USDC) might dip and get everyone grumbling, but I keep farming with a grin. If the gurus are right, there’s still more bull left in this run—and if not, at least I’m getting a better APR at the pool’s edge.
Sometimes, the best yield comes to the farmers who aren’t afraid of a little splash at the deep end.
