Crypto Mysteries On My Profile

When I woke up yesterday morning doing my usual “How did my crypto world treat me overnight?” update, I was greeted by the image below. I was thrilled about the underlined portion. If the daily earnings continued at its pace for the past 24 hours, it would make over 43,000% in one year. (APR). I was thrilled by this until I reloaded. Then, I realized this was a fluke. My APR was back to 65%.

My best APR every…NOT!
Not sure why I am seeing this in my profile, but here it is. Is it an invitation for my wallet to be sucked dry?

This was not the only mystery I found on my Krystal profile today. This one is a question for the guru. It showed up on my profile on Saturday. I did not invite it into my “home.” It just showed up there. In my wallet, I sometimes get invitations to accept tokens I know nothing about. The guru told me I needed to be careful with them. If I interact with them, they could have some ability to drain my wallet. Having learned some hard lessons that have already damaged my crypto wallet, I have no desire to make even more fatal mistakes. If I don’t recognize the token or liquidity pool, I stay away from it.

In the real world, not everything you see is true or innocent. In the crypto world, the caveat list grows longer every day I dwell there.

After I posted this, I found out about “contract permissions.” If any of these things are in your wallet, it might be with the hope that you will grant the originator full permission. Avoid them!!
