Before The Next Crypto Meeting

My assignments were not extensive, but they were meant to teach. Even as I get a little impatient waiting on our next meeting, I know it will help the crypto knowledge stick a little better.

My first assignment was to set up a Spritz account. When I tried to navigate my way around on my computer, I was disappointed. Once I downloaded the phone app, the verification and all other requirements went much smoother. I will have to search to find out how to do ACHes or wires to the account. To verify who I am, this app wanted access to all of my images. That and my date of birth got me “Verified”. No driver’s license or passports necessary.

The second part of my homework was a little more complicated. I was told to find my first pair/pool on Krystal. Based on the criteria given, the first 11 pages of the results were candidates. Once I placed all screen shots in a document, I uploaded them to my guide. Rather than say, “Let’s schedule the next meeting.”, he sent a video to give me more direction. He gave vague guidance to a very literal person. Again, I don’t think my response was quite on target. What is below, until I am told otherwise, are pairs that match his criteria.

Based on the criteria I “now” understand, I believe this is the list I was supposed to generate. The TVL is from greatest to smallest., AND I have pulled out the pairs where the APR is greater than 60%. I know there are other variables, but if TVL is numero UNO, I believe I fully understand that now.

What could happen at our next meeting?

  1. The above list, or one similar to it, should have further criteria applied to it. Once that is done, one or two candidates should rise to the top of the “test position” stack.
  2. Get my Trezor wallet set up.
  3. Get my first position set up.

What to work on until the next meeting?

  1. Now that Spritz is set up, I will try and do a wire and/or an ACH.
  2. As an INTJ (Meyers-Briggs personality type), I will continue trying to figure out what I have missed with my guide’s directions. “Once you have pairs that meet the criteria, choose those over 60%.”, he said. I don’t think there are any lines to read between. I think I have it this time.
  3. With a change of zip code coming in less than 2 weeks, my “honey-do” list has plenty of things on it. I am not pushing to hard. The next steps in my crypto journey will happen when they happen.
