My recent joining of the Crypto Mastermind was not something that came easily. In my ideal world, the algo trading bots would have traded in a “normal” market. There would be losing trades, but losing months would be rare. And, any losing months would be single digit losses. That reality was not to be. So, I continue to explore what else is out there. Of course, joining a mastermind involves “empty money” (investable funds spent on learning with no immediate return). The errors of the past year have convinced me minimizing loss needs a trusted guide. I hope I have chosen the right guide.
After watching a recorded Crypto Mastermind video recently, I was given hope I am in the right place. Those on the Zoom call selected which of the crypto options they thought was the best one. The results of the analysis was interesting. There were two bad choices, and there were two good choices. One of the good choices was for those who are speculative investors. The other choice was an option that would provide a stable return. This early in my journey, I don’t completely understand what “crypto stable” involves, but I know those are the opportunities I will be drawn to.
I can tell crypto will be less passive than my optimum. That is okay. If I want to claim to be “semi-retired while doing some investing,” I should be doing something. Assuming there will be a point when I stop drinking from a firehose, I hope to be able to do a daily review with only occasional deeper dives. Since “passive” seems to be a moving target, I will make whatever adjustments are necessary.
Additionally, my bot losses from University of Options brought me to my passive pursuits with their futures products. The “copy trader” and their futures bot are trying to convince me UoO can be a part of my passive journey. After over two months of testing their first version of the “copy trader”, the new version (and an additional gifted trader on staff) should stabilize this bucket of my retirement income.
My fear continues to be, “There is a hole in the bucket, the bucket, the bucket…”
