NZDJPY Wrap-up

The Fed knew what it was doing, or it had a little luck. Regardless, it cleared out all 22 open trades. Fortunately, I made some money. Without slippage, I would have made more…not sure how much.

The green shows the desired “Take Profit” price. The orange shows the trades that did not hit the “T/P” do to slippage.

I can rant and rave and be greedy, but these trades did make me $1,854.09. I did not pull a calculator out, but I believe the “Profit” is after the Commission and Swap has been subtracted out. This made for a very profitable day on the farm. I don’t want to dwell on what I didn’t get because the T/P was missed. There will be times when I get the break on slippage, but these trades were not my turn.

Not everyone’s trades had the same T/P price. But due to bots and just regular traders, there was a flurry of activity as NZDJPY was very active. Knowing my month is going to be very positive, slippage is not a word that makes me want to spit and curse. If the trades are not going my direction next month, I may have a very different reaction.

I continue to be amazed when I see the big profits on the bottom trades. Then, as the trades work there way to the top, the big profits slowly fade away. Fortunately, there is still profit left when it gets there. Yes, I find profit a necessity. 😉
