Dalio is alive and trading. The initial deposit made it into the account before I went to bed last night. I clicked on the area circled above. “Algo Trading” was now live. If I checked in the morning and found active trades and a little bit of profit, I would know the bot had a pulse. It does not have to be a strong heartbeat. Just signs of life.
Fortunately, I was not disappointed. As evidenced above, both of these goals were met. By not setting up my Dalio bot immediately, I benefited in a few ways:
- Within the community, people listed their problems during bot setup. My setup went smoother because others had made mistakes, and I had taken notes.
- My license was activated so quickly because the “rush” was over. The customer service staff was able to issue my license very quickly.
- Additionally, because of the problems the “early adopters” had, the “self-help” videos from NURP got updated. This made it very difficult to mess up the installations. Even though it was a total of 15 FOREX pairs to setup, I had no problems.
- Shortly after Dalio was released, NURP released a tool to simplify the configuring of the bots. I have not installed this yet. I will probably wait for a weekend when the risk of doing damage is minimal. When I decide to install it, there is a video to walk me through it.
If all goes as projected, Dalio should generate 4.5% on average per month. I hope I can be patient with him until he gets warmed up!
