My demo account has been staying busy. The account is still making money (over 10% this week). But, to get that, it would have tied a few stomachs in knots.

On the positive, the account is still solvent, and it is making money. The bad part is the level of drawdown it has achieved to get there. I have been told a Margin level below 400% is getting dangerous. A return of 10% is a great return in a week’s time. Is it sustainable? Will the trades dragging the account down turn around in the coming days? Could I handle my $100,000 account dropping to a value of $65,000? The only thing I can do is watch!
HGS Systems contacted me to try their bot. I am grateful he allowed me to set up a demo account. As previously stated, “The drawdown scares me, but I am willing to watch.” I hope those who watch can also realize the risks and emotions of bot trading.
